Obituary for Priscilla "Pat" Schnopp

Priscilla "Pat" M. Schnopp, 91,
of 142 South Street, Dalton, died peacefully Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Side by Side of Pittsfield.
Born in Pittsfield on May 20, 1921, the daughter of Donald F. and Mildred I.
Reed Howe, she was educated in Pittsfield schools and was a 1939 graduate of St.
Joseph Central High School.
Mrs. Schnopp had been a buyer for England Brothers for more than 25 years.
She had also worked for Filene's and Steiger's, before retiring in 1991.
She was a communicant of St. Agnes Church.
She was also a Girl Scout leader for many years.
She enjoyed flowers and working in her yard, and reading.
Her husband, Philip G. Schnopp, whom she married in 1946, died January 9,
2009. Mrs. Schnopp is survived by four sons, James Wayne Lounsbury and his wife, Jan, of Marshall, North Carolina, Gary P. Schnopp and his wife, Sharon of Pittsfield, and Lawrence P. "Buzzy" Schnopp and his wife, Bonnie, of Dalton, and Peter Schnopp and
his wife, Rose, of Pittsfield; nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Donald "Bud" Howe and James Howe.
The Schnopp family would like to extend a special THANK YOU to Side by Side and its entire staff, for all of the LOVE & CARE given to Pat for the past 2 ½ years.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Priscilla "Pat" M. Schnopp, will be held Friday, November
2, 2012 at 10:30 a.m., from DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME in Dalton with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., at St. Agnes Church celebrated by Rev. Christopher A. Malatesta, Pastor. Burial will follow in Ashuelot Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at the Dery-Foley Funeral Home, 890 East Main St. Dalton, MA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs.
Schnopp may be made to HospiceCare in The Berkshires or to Side By Side Activities
Fund, both in care of the Dery-Foley Funeral Home, 890 East Main Street, Dalton.
