Obituary for Priscilla "Pat" Bialas

Priscilla "Pat" (Perreault) Bialas died April 1, 2017 at Springside Nursing Home
where she had been a resident since 2015. The daughter of Albert and Virginia
(Boyer) Perreault, she was born December 7, 1917 in North Adams. She attended
North Adams Schools.
She married Chester C. Bialas on January 3, 1948 and they lived in Cheshire for 23
years. She worked at England Brothers in Pittsfield as an auditor and later at
Arnold Print Works in Adams until her retirement. They then moved to New
Hampshire for 18 years before returning to Pittsfield. They loved to travel. Her
greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Garbati and her husband Robert of
Wilmington, MA, David Bialas and his wife Julie of Cheshire, Diane Briggs of
Cheshire, and Nancy Gregory of Lafayette, CO. She leaves seven grandchildren,
Michael, Jessica, Marc, Matt, Heather, Andy, and Jackie, and six great-
grandchildren, Joshua, Kassandra, Lucas, Kaitlyn, Harper and Maxwell.
She was predeceased by her husband Chester who died November 21, 2014, her
brothers Albert and Francis, and son-in-law William Briggs.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Priscilla "Pat" Bialas who passed away April 1, 2017 will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at St. Mary of
the Assumption Church in Cheshire celebrated by the Rev. Matthew Guidi, pastor. Burial will take place later in the spring in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery in Adams. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations in memory of Pat may be made to the Adams American Legion in care of the DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME, North State Road, Cheshire, MA 01225.
