Obituary for Philippe James Laframboise
Philippe James Laframboise, 50 of Cheshire, MA, passed away January 2, 2022. He was born August 4, 1971 in Fort Riley Army Base, Kansas to Philippe C. Laframboise and Diana Alfonso Laframboise.
Mr. Laframboise is survived by his parents, Philippe C. and Diana Laframboise of Cheshire; two sons, Cody Allen Laframboise of Denver, CO and Corey James Laframboise of Paso Robles, CA. His two granddaughters, Cora Marie and Carlia Jo. His sister, Amy Lyla Busenbark and her son, Jaydee E. Young of Destin, FL. He also leaves his maternal grandmother, Rita Laframboise of Holyoke, MA.
He was educated at Pittsfield Public Schools and was a 1991 graduate of Taconic High School. Mr. Laframboise was employed by Safariland as a specialty welder and fabricator.
A big car and motorcycle enthusiast, he enjoyed restoring and modifying cars alongside his father. He loved his dog Captain, and was an avid bow hunter. He loved karaoke which made him a staple in the community sharing jokes and pranks with people. His absence will be greatly missed.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held, Monday, January 10, 2022 at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph Church in Pittsfield, celebrated by Rev. Msgr. Michael Shershanovich, Pastor. Masks will be required for all of those attending. There will be no calling hours, but a memorial event will follow in the spring for his friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to his father, Philippe C. Laframboise and will go to a fund for Phil’s children. They may be mailed to Dery Funeral Home 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA, who has been entrusted with his arrangements.
