Obituary for Philip M. Boibeaux Jr.

Philip M. Boibeaux Jr., 54, a Berkshire County native, died October 3, 2015 in Davenport, FL from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born in Great Barrington, MA on July 19, 1961 he was a son of the late Philip Boibeaux Sr. and the late Deanna Valliere Boibeaux. He was educated in Great Barrington schools and had also held certificates in electronics. He was also a CDL certified truck driver. He had resided in Florida for the past two years and prior to that had resided in Pittsfield for many years. At the time of his death, Phil was employed as a cable box repair tech with CTDI of Davenport, FL. Prior to that he had worked as a truck driver for Airgas and as an electronics technician at Bicron Electronics. He enjoyed classic cars, Harley Davidson motorcycles, as well as remote control cars and airplanes. He leaves behind his wife, Dawn Matthews Boibeaux of Davenport, FL whom he married on June 13, 2015. A son: Philip Boibeaux III of Albany, NY. A brother; Ronald Boibeaux Sr. of Stockbridge, MA. He also leaves three sisters; Anita Boibeaux of Pittsfield, MA, Suzanne Alden of Lee, MA and Vivian Farnum of Egremont, MA as well as several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours for Philip M. Boibeaux Jr. who died October 3, 2015 will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 12 Noon to 2 PM at the DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Phil may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St. Pittsfield, MA 01201.
