Phil Boulais, 70, of Pittsfield, passed away April 3, 2022 at his home.
Born in Pittsfield on February 15, 1952, son of the late James F. and Helen Mayo Boulais, he was a 1971 graduate of Taconic High School.
Mr. Boulais worked as a laborer for Cardan Construction for 10 years. Prior to that, he had been employed at Unistress, General Electric, A.H.Rice and the family business Boulais Pallet Company. Phil also served in the Army National Guards for 10 years.
His favorite times were spent with family and friends outdoors, hiking, camping and having cookouts. He was an avid reader and crossword puzzler and sports enthusiast, especially the Boston Red Sox and Patriots.
He is survived by his loving brother Marc Boulais and wife Barbara of Pittsfield. An uncle to 12 nephews and nieces, Evan, Jason, Julie, Aimee, Dana, Ryan, Christopher, Jim III., Michelle, Tom, Tonya & Richelle, a sister-n-law Pat and many close cousins. He was predeceased by his siblings James F. Boulais Jr. and Gail M. Szepessy.
Funeral Notice: Calling hours will be held, Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Dalton American Legion in care of the funeral home.
