Obituary for Phalice A. Jenks

Phalice A. Jenks,77, of 27 Franklin St. Dalton died Friday Aug. 25,2006 at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. Born in Pittsfield, MA on October 19,1928 she was the daughter of the late Clymer and Anna McCarty Dunbar. She was educated in Dalton schools and was a 1946 graduate of the former Dalton High School. An accountant, she worked for the Berkshire Veterinary Hospital for many years. She leaves two daughters Ann Macheli of Brookline, MA and Diane Shields of North Adams, MA, and her sister, Judy Carter of Dalton. She also leaves her two grandsons.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Phalice will be lovingly missed by her two grandsons, John and Jeffrie Shields, her two nephews Paul and Alan Carter, her brother-in-law, Charles Carter, her sons-in-law Lyle Macheli and John Shields and her long time companion George DiCicco. Funeral services will be private. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 1-2PM at DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME 890 Main, Dalton. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Phalice Jenks Fund for Needy Pets c/o Berkshire Veterinary Hospital 730 � Crane Ave. Pittsfield,MA 01201.
