Obituary for Pauline M. Rando

PAULINE MARION RANDO, 90, formerly of 84 Plunkett Street, Pittsfield, died
Sunday, April 25, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in North Adams, on February 8, 1920, a daughter of Frank and Teofila Scinski Barscz, she was educated in Pittsfield schools.
Mrs. Rando had worked in the Dietary Department at Pittsfield General Hospital
(now Berkshire Medical Center), and at the former Elmvale Worsted Company. She was then employed by Royal Cleaners where she was a sorter for several years before retiring in 1982. She was a communicant of the former St. Mary the Morning Star Church and was a member of the St. Mary Church Family Society.
Her husband, George H. Rando, died April 11, 1986. Mrs. Rando is survived by a daughter, Veronica J. Jacques, and her husband, Leroy, of Lenox, with whom she resided for the past three years; three grandchildren, Heather A. Spring, Eric H. Steiner, and William F. Steiner; and three great grandchildren,
Kayla A. Spring and twins, Cody and Kyle Thiede.
She was pre-deceased by a brother, Anthony Barscz and two sisters, Sophie Barscz and Viola Wright.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for PAULINE MARION RANDO will be Thursday, April 29,
at 8:15 a.m., from DERY FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Church celebrated by Rev. Msgr. Michael A. Shershanovich, Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Rando may be made to HospiceCare in The Berkshires in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
