Obituary for Paul Martino
Paul Martino, 74 of Cheshire, passed away after a short illness on January 5, 2022 at Berkshire Medical Center. He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Betty (Hinckley) Martino, whom he married on May 11, 1968. Sons, Paul and his wife Kelley (Bator) Martino, of Cheshire, and Michael Martino of Pittsfield. As well as his sister, Judy and her husband Louis Levesque of Texas. His nephews, David and his wife Linda (Farrell) Levesque, Jeffrey Levesque and niece, Heather Levesque all of Texas. His beloved companion, his dog, Kaylee, and his two granddogs, Kaiya and Kooper.
He was predeceased by his mother, Catherine Bruzzi Martino and his father, Jasper Martino.
He was a 1965 graduate of Pittsfield High School. He was employed at the former Eaton’s of Pittsfield, then on to the Plumber and Pipefitters Local Union where he served as a plumbing teacher for many years. Upon retiring from the Plumbers Union, he took the job as Master Plumber for General Dynamics until the present.
His hobbies included going to the casinos and spending time meeting his many friends for breakfast and lunch, and talking with his phone buddies, Todd Juif and Boss LaFosse.
He enjoyed the lake life and helping his kids with their many projects and would always joke, “no more projects!”
