Obituary for Paul L. LeBlanc

PAUL L. LeBLANC, 70, a resident of 31 Claremont Road, Dalton, since 1976,
died Sunday, January 31, at his home.
Born in Pittsfield, January 11, 1940, a son of Leonard L. and Marie "Bella"
Vienneau LeBlanc, he was educated in Pittsfield schools and was a graduate of St. Joseph
Central High School. He also completed two years at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada.
He served with the United States Army in the US Army Security Agency..
Mr. LeBlanc was employed as a carpenter-foreman with Renau Construction
in Pittsfield for twenty-five years. He retired in 2001.
He was a proud member of the National Rifle Association and a proud member
of G.O.A.L. (Gun Owners Action League), and a member of the Pittsfield Sportsmen's Club and the Berkshire Bow and Gun Club.
He was a consummate outdoorsman and an accomplished and gifted hunter and fisherman.
Mr. LeBlanc leaves his wife the former Janice Rocca, whom he married November 3, 1972.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter Renee L. LeBlanc of Pittsfield; a grandson, Gabriel Perusse of Pittsfield, and a second grandchild to be that is expected this month; a brother, Robert R. LeBlanc and his wife, Carrie, of Pittsfield; a sister, Anne McConnell of Pittsfield; and a special grandnephew, Sean Rattigan of Greenfield, MA.
He also leaves his cousin, Warren Vienneau of Pittsfield, whom he considered a
brother, many nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends, as well as a great supporting young friend and fellow sportsman, Anthony Campoli, of Pittsfield, son of the late Albert Campoli. He was predeceased by his brother and sister, J. Leonard LeBlanc and Rosemary LeBlanc Thomson D'Allesandro.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for PAUL L. LeBLANC, who died Sunday, January 31, will be
Thursday, February 4, at 9:15 a.m., from DERY FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of
Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., at St. Charles Church celebrated by Rev. Peter A. Gregory, Pastor. Burial will take place a later date. Calling hours will be Wednesday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Dery Funeral Home in Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. LeBlanc may be made to the Berkshire Visiting Nurse Association or to HospiceCare in The Berkshires both in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
