Obituary for Paul F. Cornellier

PAUL FRANCIS CORNELLIER, 63, of 44 South Road Ext., Peru, died Sunday evening at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Pittsfield, January 9, 1944, a son of Helen Langlois Cornellier of Round
Rock Texas, and the late Donald L. Cornellier, he was a 1962 graduate of Pittsfield High
School. A tool maker and machinist by trade, Mr. Cornellier had at one time been
employed by Marland Mold, and for twenty-six years by A.G.I.. Poly Matrix. He was
part owner of Wahconah Mold and Tool until 1980, and at the time of his death was
employed by Lakewood Mold.He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting, was a gentleman
farmer with the Scottish Highlanders and an oxen teamster. He also enjoyed Nascar.
At one time, in his earlier years, he was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
Mr. Cornellier leaves his wife, the former Janet Swope, who were married April 13, 1991.
Besides his wife and his mother, Mr. Cornellier leaves a son, Michael P.Cornellier
of Hinsdale, two daughters, Janine R. Cornellier of Hinsdale and Amanda J. Cornellier of
Adams; two stepsons, Mark A. Battaini of Munson, Massachusetts, Raymond M. Battaini
of Pittsfield; three stepdaughters, Teresa A. Roberts of North Adams, Cindy E. Canino of
Pittsfield, and Linda M. Adrino of Palm Coast, Florida; a brother, Duane L. Cornellier of
Round Rock, Texas; four grandchildren, ten step grandchildren, and three step great
grandchildren., as well as his former wives, Doreen D. Cornellier of Hinsdale and Lee
Deanne Haring-Myers of Chester.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for PAUL FRANCIS CORNELLIER, who died Sunday,
February 11, will be Friday, February 16, at 1:00 p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME,Pittsfield, with Rev. Paul A. Bombardier, Pastor of St. Mary the Morning Star Church,officiating. Burial will be in the Spring in South Cemetery in Peru. Calling hours will be Thursday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home, Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Cornellier may be made to the Hinsdale Volunteer
Ambulance Service in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
