Obituary for Patricia Goguen
Patricia May Goguen, 92 of Pittsfield, passed away April 20, 2022 surrounded by family.
Born in Pittsfield on May 2, 1929, she was the daughter of Leo E. and Rose A. Plante Archambeau.
Patricia was a 1948 graduate of St. Joseph High School. She married Alex J. Goguen on April 18, 1960. He predeceased her on March 29, 1999.
Primarily a homemaker, at one time she was a bookkeeper for England Brothers. She enjoyed volunteering at Pittsfield Public schools and the Ralph J. Froio Senior Center. She also enjoyed gardening, ceramics, coloring, the movies, Disney World and spending time with loved ones.
She is survived by her son, Leon Goguen. Granddaughters, Miranda and husband Donnie Messer of Pittsfield, Rachel and husband Ryan Donohue of East Nassau, NY, and Keelin O’Brien of Anchorage, AK. Two great-grandsons, Brendan Carmel and Eben Donohue.
She was predeceased by her husband Alex and daughter, Audrey O’Brien.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held, MONDAY, May 2, 2022 at 1 PM at St. Mark Church, celebrated by Rev. Christopher Fedoryshyn, Pastor. Burial will follow at Williamstown Cemetery.
