Obituary for Norman V. Goyette Jr.

Norman V. Goyette Jr., 72, of 22 Fencourt Avenue in Randolph, MA passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 3, 2016. A former Pittsfield native, he was born in Pittsfield on March 5, 1944, the son of the late Norman V. Goyette Sr. and the late Lois Buckley Goyette. Disabled for all of his life, Norman loved music and animals. He leaves his sister; Annmarie Dessereau and her husband Edward of Westfield, MA. His sister-in-law and caregiver; Joanne Goyette of Weymouth, MA. His niece and caregiver, Alison McCarthy and her husband James of Quincy, MA and his niece Amy Dillon and her husband Ryan of Bristol, NH. He also leaves his nephew; Matthew J. Dessereau of Springfield, MA and his grandnieces; Brooke McCarthy, Emily McCarthy, Megan McCarthy, and Rebecca Dillon and a grandnephew; Corey Dillon. He also leaves several cousins in the Pittsfield and Lanesboro area. He was predeceased by a brother; Richard P. Goyette and by two sisters: Nancianne Goyette and Diane Goyette.





FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Norman V. Goyette Jr., 72 formerly of Pittsfield who died May 3, 2016 will be held Monday at 9:30 am from the DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Church celebrated by the Rev. Monsignor Michael Shershanovich, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Monday from 8:30 am to 9:30 am at the funeral home prior to the service. Memorial donations in memory of Norman may be made to the Charity of One's Choice in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
