Obituary for Nancy Ann Smart
Nancy Ann Smart, 63, a long time Dalton resident, died Sunday, January 13,
2013, at Chapin Center in Springfield.
Born in Pittsfield on August 26, 1949, a daughter of Walter and Marjorie Griffin
Disco, she was educated in Dalton schools and was a 1967 graduate of Wahconah
Regional High School.
Mrs. Smart had been as a Certified Nursing Assistant for various home health
care agencies.
Her husband, Gerald Smart, died in 1990.
Mrs. Smart is survived by a son, Dennis F. Smart, of Pittsfield; a daughter,
Eileen R. Smart of Loughman, Florida; a sister, Donna M. Gladu of Ruskin, Florida;
and two granddaughters, Tylee R. Dufault of Chicopee, and Hailey M. Raucci of
Orlando.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Graveside services for Nancy Ann Smart will be held in the Spring in Fairview
Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of
Mrs. Smart may be made to St. Agnes Academy in care of DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL
HOME, 890 East Main Street, Dalton.
