Obituary for Mildred E. Shepard

MISS MILDRED ELIZABETH SHEPARD, 97, formerly of 68 Bartlett Avenue, Pittsfield, died Monday, January 21, at Berkshire Place where she had resided the past seven years.
Born in Pittsfield, April 25, 1910, the daughter of Harry R. and Alice Boucher
Shepard, she was a graduate of local schools.
Miss Shepard was employed as an Executive Secretary for Western Mass.
Electric Company for forty years retiring in 1975.She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church and had been a communicant of the former Notre Dame Church. She enjoyed knitting and needlepoint.Miss Shepard is survived by a brother, Robert B. Shepard, of Lake Oswego,
Oregon.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for MISS MILDRED ELIZABETH SHEPARD,
who died Monday, January 21, will be today, Wednesday, January 23, at 9:00 a.m., at
St. Joseph Church, celebrated by Rev. Msgr. Michael A. Shershanovich, Pastor. Burial
will follow in the family plot at Southview Cemetery in North Adams. There are no
calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Miss Shepard may be
made to St. Joseph Church in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street,
Pittsfield.
