Obituary for Mildrd J. Pike

MILDRED JEAN PIKE, 85, of Melbourne Place, formerly of Lebanon Avenue,
died Friday, February 4, at Mt. Greylock Extended Care Facility where she had been a
patient for the past two weeks.
Born in Haverhill, New Hampshire on January 26, 1926, she was the daughter of Carl and Minnie Skinner Maynes, and was a graduate of schools in Ryegate, Vermont. Mrs. Pike and her late husband were the proprietors of The Glass Shop on
Wahconah Street where she did the bookkeeping. She retired in 1979.
She was a member of Immanuel Community Church.
She lived for her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grand-
children. Her husband, Francis A. Pike, died August 2, 2008. Mrs. Pike is survived by a son, Amos F. Pike and his wife Margaret, of Hinsdale;
two daughters, Donna R. Behan of Pittsfield, and Kathie J. Boucher and her husband,
Brian, of Peru; a brother, William Maynes of Woodsville, New Hampshire; eight
grandchildren, Sharon Gittzus, Darren Behan, Michael Behan, Amos F. Pike, Jr., Dennis
Hubbard, Amanda J. Kileen, Benjamin Boucher, and Nicholas Boucher, and nine great
grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for MILDRED JEAN PIKE will be held Saturday, February 12,
at 11:00 a.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME with Rev. John T. Cunningham, Pastor of
Immanuel Community Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery.
There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Pike may
be made to Melbourne Place in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
