Obituary for Mickey M. Ramos
On Sunday morning September 27, 2015 Mickey M. Ramos was peacefully delivered into the loving embrace of his heavenly Father. Born in Pittsfield on July 27, 1933, the son of Bernardino and Rita De Jesus Ramos, he was a graduate of Pittsfield schools.
Mr. Ramos was employed by G.E. for over 25 years, he was an inspector in P.T.
He leaves his loving wife the former Carol Zurrin who he married in 1960. He also leaves a son Michael Ramos, 3 daughters, Valerie Hollingworth and her husband Philip, Lisa Ragazzo and her husband Daniel, Pamela Ramos and her P.B.G. Mark Dean; 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his two brothers; Serafin and Manuel and two sisters; Marie and Alice Burchard.
Funeral Notice:A liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Marks Church by the Rev. John C. Salatino, Pastor, on October 1, 2015. Private burial followed in St. Josephs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Marks Food Pantry, in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield. The family would also encourage those who knew him to perform a random act of kindness in Mickey's memory
