Michael D. McHugh, of the Town of Washington, died Thursday, May 16, 2013,
after a long illness.
Born on August 2, 1933, he was a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
He had served as a lieutenant in the United States Army. He was employed as an
engineer.
Mr. McHugh was pre-deceased by his wife, the former Suzanne Kennedy.
He is survived by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Richard
Brown; his sister and brother-in-law, Ursula and Walter Cliff; and nieces and nephews,
Richard Brown; Jr., Barbara Georgetti, Jenifer Brown, Conway Cliff, Mary Bersani, and
Catherine Burns.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Michael D. McHugh will be held Saturday, May 25, with a
Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., at St. Agnes Church in Dalton celebrated by
Rev. Christopher A. Malatesta, Pastor. Burial will follow in the Old Town Hall
Cemetery on Washington Mountain Road. There are no calling hours. The DERY-
FOLEY FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
