Obituary for Michael K. Cota

Michael Kevin Cota, 55, of 26 West Road, Adams, died Tuesday, October 16,
2012, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Chelsea, on June 30, 1957, a son of Richard D. and Karen M. McKnight
Cota, he was educated in North Adams schools and was a 1975 graduate of Charles
McCann Technical High School.
He served in the United States Navy four years.
Mr. Cota was most recently employed as a technician for Cavallero Plastics
in Pittsfield. Prior to that, he had worked for Sony Corporation in California for twenty
years. He had been a member of the American Legion in Williamstown.
He enjoyed fishing and hockey.
Besides his parents of North Adams, Mr. Cota leaves a son, Kevin M. Cota, of
Adams; two daughters, Chelsea P. Cota of Nashua, New Hampshire, and Kaci L.
Meczywor and her husband, Adam, of Adams; two brothers, Matthew Cota and his wife,
Terri, of Adams, and Timothy Cota and his companion, Jodi Reeves, of Stamford,
Vermont; as well as two nephews, Sean Cota and Bryan Cota, and his former wife,
Debi Cota of Albany.

FUNERAL NOTICE: There are no services or calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in
memory of Mr. Cota may be made to the Peter Foote Memorial Rink in care of
DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
