Obituary for Melissa Ann Kittler-Abels

Melissa Ann Kittler-Abels was born on January 12, 1971 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. She was such a beautiful baby that her cuteness won the honor of being one of the first postered photo babies for Zayer's Department Store.
She attended Pittsfield Public School throughout her education. She enjoyed cruising with her friends, shopping, and exploring every nook and cranny of Berkshire County as any teenager would.
She later ventured out west and became a resident of Arizona. There she became a skilled airplane mechanic and began the joys of motherhood. After that, her career, family, and love of traveling took her to Washington state and then back to the east coast
where her final residence was Lake City, Florida. There she enjoyed family, friends, the New England Patriots and her fast sports car.
She leaves behind her mother, Dorothy Bristol-Stroup, and father, Kevin Kittler, both of Pittsfield, three grandparents, Emil and Eleanor Kittler of Cheshire, and Dorothy Bristol of Pittsfield, three sons, Bryan McCauley, 24 of Truro, Mass., David Eddie, 23, and Corey Abels, 14, both of Lake City, Fla.; two brothers, Kevin R. Kittler and Scott M.
Kittler, both of Pittsfield; a sister, Rebecca A. Valentine of Pittsfield; a sister-in-law, Carrie M. Kittler, and a brother-in-law, Fred Valentine, both of Pittsfield; and her beloved husband and best friend, John Abels of Lake City, Fla. She also leaves behind eight aunts, eleven uncles, many, many cousins, three nieces and five nephews, one of which carries on her birthday, Joshua E. Kittler, and too many friends to list.
