Obituary for Mary Ann DiCroce

Mary Ann DiCroce, 75, of 31 Newton Avenue, Pittsfield, died Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on August 12, 1941, the daughter of Louis S. and Mary A. DiTulio Bolognia, she was a 1959 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Primarily a homemaker, she first worked with Bell Atlantic Telephone Company for
several years. She later worked in the Business Office at Miss Hall's School and ended her
working career in the Business Office at Berkshire Community College.
Mrs. DiCroce was a communicant of St. Mark Church and had been a communicant of
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She also volunteered her time with Elder Services of
Berkshire County.
Mrs. DiCroce is survived by her former husband Paul J. DiCroce and his wife Allison of Florida and a his daughter, Lisa A. Lufkin and her partner, John Novak of Pittsfield; a son, Paul J. DiCroce, Jr. of Pittsfield; a granddaughter, Amanda R. DiCroce of Lenox Dale; a brother, Louis Bolognia of Florida; two sisters, Barbara (and William) Wanat and Donna Biladeau, both of Florida, and her life long friend Grace Gwara of Lenox.
She was pre-deceased by her brothers, Anthony Bolognia and Daniel Bolognia, Sr.,
and her sister, Caroline Ackerson.
The family wishes to thank the 5th Floor staff at Berkshire Medical Center for their care
and compassion.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Mary Ann DiCroce will be held Tuesday, December 27, at 9:30 a.m.
from DERY FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., at St. Mark Church,
celebrated by Rev. David E. Aufiero, Administrator. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Calling hours will precede the service beginning at 9:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Myasthenia Gravis
Foundation or to St. Jude Children's Hospital, both in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford
Street, Pittsfield.
