Obituary for Mary Theresa Bordeau
Mary Theresa Bordeau, 89, of Pittsfield, passed away May 23, 2021 at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield, MA on November the 8th,1931 the daughter of Pietro and Rovistina Ricci Monti, she was a 1950 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Primarily a homemaker, at one time she worked as a typist at General Electric, where she met her husband of 68 years, Charles R. Bordeau.
A communicant of Sacred Heart Church, she enjoyed spending time with her family, going on many road trips to visit her children all around the country, Mary was most happy in her home cooking and hosting family dinners and serving her famous meatballs.
She is survived by her beloved husband Charles R. Bordeau of Pittsfield, son Charles E. Bordeau and wife Chara of Springfield, IL, daughter Charlene M. Moore of Sarasota, FL, son Peter F. Bordeau of Orlando, FL, son David R. Bordeau and wife Jeanne of Austin, TX, and daughter Michelle B. Teichert and husband Dennis of Pittsfield, MA. Her grandchildren, David Moore and wife Katie, Max Teichert and wife Kara, Alex Teichert, Melissa Bordeau and fiance Skye, Amy Asay and husband Evan.
Her great grandchildren, Sophie Kay Moore and Howard David Asay. She also leaves her brother-in-law Edward Bordeau.
Funeral Notice: Funeral services will be held, Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, celebrated by Rev. Steven G. Montesanti, Pastor of Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the service from 10 to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Elder Services, 877 South St, #4E, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
