Marjorie L. Moody, 75, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, passed away on September 26, 2022 at her home.
Born in Savannah, Georgia on November 9, 1946, she was the daughter of Rufus and Blanche Robinson Lynch.
She married Charles Moody in 1994. He preceeded her on October 27, 2016
Mrs. Moody was a CNA for many years at Kimball Farms and other nursing homes in Berkshire County.
She is survived by her daughter Tonya Renee Smith of Pittsfield, two grandsons, Dominic Smith (Sarah), and Terrance Smith (Arin), six great grandchildren whom she adored: Ne'Vaeh, Natalia, Javhon, Jalana, Maliyah, Maria seven bonus great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews as well as her siblings, whom all preceded her in death, Jimmy Robinson, Leroy Smith, Myra Lynch, Ruthie DeBoise, Betty Black, Maxine Smith, .
FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held Monday, October 3, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Dery Funeral Home. Calling hours will precede the service from 12 to 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield to help the family defray costs.
