Obituary for Marilynne L Lee
Marilynne L. Lee, 72, of Pittsfield, MA, passed away January 21, 2021 at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on May 14, 1948, she was the daughter of the late John and Marie Hamer Farrell. She was educated in Brooklyn Catholic Schools and attended Hunter College.
She married Ronald Lee on November 1, 1969 and moved to Pittsfield soon after.
Mrs. Lee worked in the insurance business from the 1960’s to 2017.
She loved watching her grandchildren play baseball, soccer, basketball, and football, as well as watching their dance recitals and cheer performances. Marilynne cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and going on adventures with them.
She loved reading and watching crime shows on TV, traveling with her sister, and going to Berkshire County Theatrical performances with her husband.
Beside her loving husband of 52 years, Ronald Lee, she is survived by her children, Christina Renaud and husband Treavor of Cumberland, RI, Daniel Lee and wife Angie of Dalton, Amanda Kilmer and husband Joshua of Dalton, MA; grandchildren, Kyle Lee, Jocelyn Renaud, Cameron Lee, Jarrett Renaud, Riley Kilmer, Madden Kilmer, Madison Lee, and Wes Kilmer; sister Gina Kaczmarczyk; and her niece, Jessica Gwodz and husband Ralph, and nephew, Steven Kaczmarczyk; as well as her grandnieces, Hailie Chelsea and Abigail.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held, THURSDAY, January 28, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, celebrated by Ft. Michael Goodreau. Burial will follow at Pittsfield Cemetery. An hour of visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201
