Obituary for Marilyn A. Daley

Marilyn A. Daley, 67, of 37 Patricia Avenue, Pittsfield, died Monday, February 29, 2016, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on November 3, 1948, the daughter of Martin P. and Grace A. Peaslee
Speth, she was a 1967 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Marilyn first worked at Eaton Paper Company where she met her husband, Frank.
Mrs. Daley was a certified nurse's aide and had been employed at the former Edgecomb
Nursing Home, the former Valley View Nursing Home, and most recently at Mount Greylock
Extended Care. She retired in 1997 with 18 years service.
Marilyn is remembered as an amazing woman, mother, and grandmother. She liked to
spend time with her children and grandchildren. She also liked to listen to music.
She leaves her husband, Frank J. Daley, whom she married September 26, 1970.
Mrs. Daley is also survived by four children, Michelle Daley, Alisa Fontaine, Michael
Daley, and Marie Aikins, all of Pittsfield; seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
She was pre-deceased by a son, Frank J. Daley, II, and a brother, Frank Speth.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Marilyn A. Daley will be held tomorrow, Friday, March 4, at 10:00 a.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield with Rev. Msgr. Michael A. Shershanovich, Pastor of St. Joseph Church, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Calling hours will be today, Thursday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society
in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
