Obituary for Margaret E. Sammon

Miss Margaret E. Sammon, 95, formerly of 305 Onota Street, Pittsfield, Ma. died Saturday at Hillcrest Commons in Pittsfield where she has resided for a year. Born in Pittsfield, Ma. on November 3, 1911 a daughter of the late William F. and Hannah Harrington Sammon. She attended schools in Pittsfield and was a graduate of Pittsfield High School. A homemaker she was a communicant of Saint Mark's Church and enjoyed gardening. She is survived by two nephews, Michael Newmarker of St. Simons Island, Georgia and Philip Newmarker of Ottawa, Illinois. She was predeceased by three sisters, Alice Newmarker, Susan Sammon and Helen Griffin.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Miss Margaret E. Sammon who died December 30, 2006 will be Tuesday, January 2nd, 2007 at 8:45 A.M. from the DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St. Pittsfield, Ma. followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:30 A.M. at Saint Mark's Church, celebrated by the Rev. John Salatino, pastor. Calling hours at Dery Funeral Home will be Monday, January 1, 2007 from 4 to 6 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials in her memory may be made to Saint Mark's Church Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home. She is survived by two nephews, Michael and Philip Newmarker and was predeceased by three sisters, Alice Newmarker, Susan Sammon and Helen Griffin.
