Obituary for Margaret R. O'Brien

MARGARET ROWAN O'BRIEN, 72, of 168 Ingalls Road, Cheshire, died Sunday, December 2, 2012, at her home.
Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, on July 30, 1940, the daughter of John and Margaret
Rowan Campbell, she was a graduate of Edinburgh, Scotland, schools, she came to the
United States of America in 1960, and became a United States citizen in 2010.
Mrs. O'Brien was a bank teller for Landmark Credit Union in North Adams
from where she retired in 2007, and had worked at several Berkshire County banks, as
well. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Her husband, Donald E. O'Brien, Sr., whom she married July 7, 1978, died October15, 2009.
Mrs. O'Brien is survived by two daughters, Rachel R. Marchisio of Pittsfield, and
Marcia M. Feeley and her husband, Patrick, of Dalton; two stepsons, Donald E. O'Brien,
Jr., and his wife, Jennifer, of Hinsdale, and Steven M. O'Brien and his wife, Kyle
O'Brien of Lanesborough; two stepdaughters, Nance I. Brazee and her husband, Rick,
of Raynham, and Pamela J. O'Brien of Lynn, as well as two grandchildren, David
O'Brien and Liam Feeley; fourteen step grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by two stepdaughters, Kathleen B. O'Brien who died
October 20, 1997, and Susan E. Suriner who died December 19, 2007.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Margaret Rowan O'Brien will be held Friday, December 7, at
11:00 a.m., at Martin Memorial Chapel at Pittsfield Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. O'Brien may be made to Elder Services of Berkshire County in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
