Obituary for Margaret Louise Montleon

Margaret Louise Montleon, 91, of 393 North State Road, Cheshire, died Sunday, October 2, 2016, at her daughter's home in Cheshire.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, on August 20, 1925, daughter of William E. and Grace Fletcher
Clark, she was a graduate of New York schools and received her nursing degree in 1944.
She was employed as a Registered Nurse in Nassau County, Long Island, and later at the former Plunkett Hospital in Adams.
Mrs. Montleon was a communicant of St. Mark Church in Pittsfield where she sang in the choir
and was a bingo worker. She also taught CCD at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Cheshire.
Her husband, Robert J. Montleon, whom she married December 19, 1948, died February 25,
2001.
Mrs. Montleon is survived by three daughters, Nancy Bourdon and her husband, Francis, of
Cheshire, Margaret Montleon of Torrance, California, and Sally Croshier and her husband, William,
of Pittsfield; two sons, Edward R. Montleon and his wife, Marta, of Fall River, Mass., and Charles
P. Montelon and his wife, Eileen, of Farmingville, N.Y.; a sister, Nancy Cook of Pickering, Ohio; nineteen
grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by three sons, Joseph William, Steven Thomas, and Robert John. Also the family would like to extend a their high praises to HospiceCare in The Berkshires.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Margaret L. Montleon will be held Saturday, October 8, with a Liturgy of
Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m., at St. Mark Church celebrated by Rev. David E. Aufiero, Administrator. Burial will follow in Cheshire Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HospiceCare in The Berkshires in care
of DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME, P.O. Box 445, Cheshire.
