Obituary for Margaret Ann Davies
MARGARET ANN DAVIES, 70, of 43 Vivian Avenue, Pittsfield, died
Sunday, February 27, at her home.
Born in Pittsfield on April 2, 1940, the daughter of Stephen and Ethel St. John
Hornyak, she was educated in Pittsfield and was a 1958 graduate of Pittsfield
High School. Mrs. Davies was employed at Kimball Farms LifeCare Retirement Community in Lenox.
She enjoyed caring for her grandchildren, cooking and reading.
Mrs. Davies is survived by two daughters of Diane D. Kulka and her husband,
Frederick, of Shelby Township, Michigan, and Jacqueline T. Davies of Fraser, Michigan;
as well as five grandchildren, Alexandra Kulka and Wynter Kulka, and Todd Roll,
Brandon Roll, and Autumn Roll.
She was pre-deceased by a grandson, Joshua A. Davies, who died in 2006, and
a brother, Stephen Hornyak.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for MARGARET ANN DAVIES will be Monday, March 7, at
12:00 Noon at DERY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Sigmund Sadzinski officiating.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the service
beginning at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Davies may
be made to the Kimball Farms Activities Fund in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford
Street, Pittsfield.
