Obituary for Marcia J. Robitaille

MARCIA JOAN ROBITAILLE, 72, of 75 Meadow Lane, Lanesborough, died
Monday afternoon at Berkshire Medical Center. She had resided at the Village of
Laurel Lake in Lee for the past year.
Born in Pittsfield, April 2, 1936, a daughter of Gerald A. and Helen G. Walak Francoeur, she was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.Mrs. Robitaille was last employed as private secretary to Atty. Hannon of Hannon & Lerner law offices in Lee. Prior to that, she had been private secretary to Bonnie
Pruden of Stockbridge, and prior to that, had worked for the American Institute for
Economic Research in Great Barrington.
She was a former communicant of North American Martyrs Church in Lanesborough.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles and bird watching.
Mrs. Robitaille is survived by her husband, Francis, of New York State; a son,
Harry J. and his wife, Holly M. Desmond of Monterey; a daughter, Holly A. Desmond of
Lanesborough, and five grandchildren, Harry J Desmond, Justin G. Desmond, Frank M.
DiLorenzo, Trevor H. Finkle, and Todd J. Finkle.
She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Harry F. Desmond; a brother, Gerald
A. Francoeur, Jr., and a sister, Sally McGovern.


FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for MARCIA JOAN ROBITAILLE, who died Monday, June 2,
will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory
of Mrs. Robitaille may be made to the Laurel Lake Activity Program in care of DERY
FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
