Obituary for Madeline M. Bradford

Madeline M. Bradford, 81, of Pittsfield, died Friday, April 4, 2014, at
Mount Greylock Extended Care.
Born in Pittsfield on June 27, 1932, the daughter of Siad and Alice Ashi Haddad, she was
educated in Pittsfield schools and was a 1950 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Bradford was employed by General Electric Company for thirty one years where she was dedicated to whatever position she was called to do. She made many friends and memories throughout
her career there.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church.
She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting, dancing, and playing cards.
Mrs. Bradford is survived by three sons, Thomas M. Bradford and his wife, Denise, of Medina,
Ohio, Michael J. Bradford and his wife, Donna, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and David W. Bradford and
his wife, Tanya, of North East, Pennsylvania; a brother, Joseph Haddad and his wife, Mary, of Dalton; a
sister, Annette Bitar of Kearney, Nebraska; six grandchildren, Carrie Dupuis and her husband, Paul,
Maureen Breitmaier and her husband, Peter, Shenna Bradford, Brian Bradford, Connor Bradford, Reilee
Bradford; four great grandchildren, Peter Breitmaier, Jr., Ethan Breitmaier, Matthew Dupuis, and Avery
Scott; many nieces and nephews; as well as extended family members in Lebanon; and her companion
and dog, "Rosebud".

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Madeline M. Bradford will be held Tuesday, April 8, at 8:15 a.m. from DERY
FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Church celebrated by Rev. Msgr. Michael A. Shershanovich, Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
