Obituary for Ludmilla Birukowicz
LUDMILLA BIRUKOWICZ, 97, formerly of Heaton Court, Stockbridge, died
Sunday, November 9, at Providence Care Center of Lenox.Born in Domanovichi, Russia, on March 15, 1911, the daughter of Ivan and Vera
Birukowicz, she was a graduate of both high school and college in Russia. She came
to the United States in 1946.
While here, she was employed by the former Fox Hollow School in Lenox where
she worked as a housekeeper for twenty years retiring in 1965. Miss Birukowicz was a member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church.
She leaves no known family.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for LUDMILLA BIRUKOWICZ, who died Sunday, November
9, will be will be Saturday, November 15, at 12:00 Noon at St. Nicholas Russian
Orthodox Church. Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Miss Birukowicz may be made to St.
Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford
Street, Pittsfield.
