Obituary for Lucy Ann Fisher

Lucy Ann Fisher, 70, of 68 Mallard Cove, Cheshire, Ma. died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013 at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born on February 4, 1943 in Düsseldorf, Germany a daughter of the late Alexander and Elizabeth Grygorcewicz. She was a 1961 graduate of Pittsfield High School. Lucy had worked at various places including, Woolworth's, First Agricultural Bank, Berkshire County Retirement System and Women's Services. She enjoyed traveling, her home and doing crossword puzzles. She leaves her husband, Raymond P. Fisher whom she married November 23, 1963 at Holy Family Church in Pittsfield. Three sisters, Irene Piekos of Cheshire, Donna Pulaski of Adams and Mary Knappe of Waterbury, CT. and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother and sister, Albert Grygorcewicz and Jane Jones.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services for Lucy A. Fisher will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 9:45 a.m. from the DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Saint Mary of the Assumption Church, Cheshire celebrated by the Rev. David Raymond, pastor. Burial will follow in the Cheshire Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home prior to the mass from 9 to 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
