Louvenia Walker, 81 of Pittsfield, MA, passed away December 8, 2023 peacefully at home.
Born in Broxton, GA on February 5, 1942 to Elex Crockett and Viola Ward Crockett.
Louvenia was married to Morris Walker. He predeceased her in 2014.
She was a seamstress for many years at Country Curtains.
Mrs. Walker was a member of Price Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, where she was a Deaconess. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, helping others, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Ronnie Crockett of Pittsfield; Her siblings, Mollie Randolph of Florida, Doris Williams of Georgia, Thurman Crockett of Florida, Willie Crockett of GA; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Eddie Dobson, and siblings, Lola Taylor, Ruth Ward, Rossetta Crockett, Ella Littleton, David Crockett, Leroy Crockett, and Elex Crockett Jr.
Funeral Notice: Calling hours will be held, Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield. A funeral home service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in Pittsfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
