Obituary for Louis A. Reynolds

Louis A. Reynolds, 81, of Cheshire, MA passed away March 8th after a long and courageous battle with lung disease. He was born in Pittsfield, MA on June 21, 1932, the son of the late Louis and Mary Ouellette Reynolds. He grew up in Berkshire Village and graduated from Pittsfield High School. He served in the US Navy with the Tin Can Soldiers on the USS Beatty DD756. He worked at GE for many years before retiring due to ill health.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of over 50 years, Anita Ann Reynolds. He leaves his children; Ross Caridi and his wife Regina, Margaret Sgalarto and her husband Rocky, Jennifer Caridi, Debbie Velez and her husband Peter, Jeffrey Reynolds and his wife Cheryl, and Karen Reynolds. He also leaves 9 loving grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Raymond Reynolds and sister-in-law June and brother-in-law Henry Pehmoller.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours will be on Tuesday March 11th, from 4:00 – 6:30 PM followed by a service at 6:30 PM at the Dery-Cheshire Funeral Home at 121 North State Rd. in Cheshire, MA. The burial will take place in the spring in the Cheshire Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alpha 1 Foundation or Pittsfield's Church of Christ in care of the Dery Funeral Home P.O. 445, Cheshire, MA 01225.
