Mr. Haddad started his career in the automotive business in 1951, working with his father at Haddad Pontiac located at 55 West St. During the Urban Renewal in 1968, Mr. Haddad and his father, George, were required to move the Pontiac Dealership. He also played golf and in his younger years he was on many candle pin bowling leagues. He was a member of the Austerlitz Club. A couple of his favorite pastimes were his trips to the casino and telling jokes to people at Mascots and Patrick's Pub.
