Lorrie Anne Bissaillon, 59, of Pittsfield MA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 28, 2023. For several years Lorrie bravely battled a rare but debilitating disease known as Multiple System Atrophy.
Born in Pittsfield on Dec. 30, 1963, she was the daughter of Lorraine Waller Butcher and the late Robert K. Butcher. She was educated in the Pittsfield Schools and was a graduate of Pittsfield High School in 1981. She was employed in the Pittsfield Public Schools food service department for several years. She was also employed with Sears department store, and the City of Pittsfield Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Lorrie is survived by her husband Jeffrey Bissaillon. Daughters Ashley Bissaillon and Brittney Bissaillon. Two brothers, Kenneth Butcher (Heidi) and Robert K. Butcher Jr. (Rose), her dear lifelong friend Suzanne Wilker White, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be private with burial at the Pittsfield Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple System Atrophy Coalition in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield MA 01201.
