Obituary for Lois B. Lepicier

LOIS BARBARA LEPICIER, 75, of 533 Cold Spring Road, Williamstown, died Tuesday afternoon at her home. Prior to moving to Williamstown, she had lived in Cheshire.
Born in Bennington, Vermont, August 7, 1931, the daughter of Samuel J. Comstock, Sr., and Verona E. Gilbert Comstock, she was educated in Williamstown and Adams schools.
A cook by profession, Mrs. Lepicier had worked at Sweetbrook Care Center in
Williamstown for 24 years retiring in 1994. Following her retirement, she had worked
as a cook at Turner House, a home for veterans in North Adams, and for the North
Adams Council on Aging.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick-St. Raphael Parish in Williamstown. She enjoyed baking pies, crafts sewing, and going to the beach.
Mrs. Lepicier leaves her husband, Roland P. Lepicier, whom she married January
9, 1953, in Notre Dame Church in Adams.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Lepicier is survived by two sons, Gregory P. Lepicier
of Cheshire and Keith S. Lepicier of Williamstown; a daughter, Tina Marie Rathbun of
Lanesborough; four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.


FUNERAL NOTICE : A Liturgy of Christian Burial for LOIS BARBARA LEPICIER, who died
Tuesday, October 3, will be Friday, October 6, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Patrick Church in
Williamstown, celebrated by Rev. David R. Raymond, Pastor of St. Mary of the
Assumption Church in Cheshire. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in
Cheshire Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the
DERY-CHEHSIRE FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory
of Mrs. Lepicier may be made to Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in care
of the Funeral Home, P.O. Box 445, Cheshire.
Mrs. Lepicier also leaves her son-in-law, Robert Rathbun; her daughters-in-law,
Debbie (wife of Gregory) and Theresa (wife of Keith), her four grandchildren, April
Oberholtzer, Michelle M. Gamache, Brad Lepicier, and Samantha Lepicier, and five
great grandchildren, Ty, Trey, Gary, Shaun, and Dillon, as well as her niece, Terry
Brier and her nephew, Craig Comstock. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Samuel
Comstock, Jr.
