Obituary for Lois Jayne Ellsworth
Lois Jayne Ellsworth, 69 of Dalton, passed away September 10, 2023 at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Lewiston, Maine on February 1, 1954, she was the daughter of Richard and Rosalie Conant.
Lois was a customer service representative at Miller Petroleum before she retired. She was a graduate of Taconic high school. She enjoyed gardening and flowers especially sunflowers. She enjoyed nature and being outdoors in her earlier years. She was always there for her loved ones and the first to celebrate them.
Lois is survived by her two children, Jennifer L. Noyes (Jason) of Easley, SC, and Eric H. Brockway of Cummington. Lois also leaves her partner of 23 years, Charles Betters of Dalton.
She is survived by her mother Rosalie Palmer Conant of Dalton, her siblings Brian Conant (Judy) of Windsor, Brenda Williamson of Dalton, Lee Conant of Cheshire, step son David Surbaugh of Pittsfield, nieces Lisa Williamson Boone of Pittsfield, Gabrielle Moody (Jess) of Quincy, MA, Antoinette Conant of Portland, ME.
She was blessed with three grandchildren Caiden Brockway of Dalton, Jakira Noyes of Easley, SC, and Tallulah Brockway of Dalton and a great nephew Derrick Boone Jr of Pittsfield and a great niece Laila Boone of Pittsfield.
Lois served several communities while working in customer servi e over the years and was cherished by many.
Per her wishes there will be no services.
