Obituary for Lisa Shaw Eichelser
Lisa Shaw Eichelser, 55, of Pittsfield, passed away December 23, 2022 at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield, MA on August 14, 1967, she was the daughter of Raymond and Nancy Sheran Shaw.
Lisa was a 1985 graduate of Pittsfield High School and graduated from their cosmetology program.
She married Eric Eichelser on November 19, 1988.
Mrs. Eichelser was a hair stylist for many years and was the owner and operator of Shawtique Salon.
She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church where she started the prayer shawl community.
Lisa is survived by her husband Eric Eichelser of Pittsfield. Two daughters, Kayla R. Eichelser and Brenna M. Eichelser, both of Pittsfield. A son, Justin J. Eichelser of Pittsfield. Two grandchildren, Jemel A. Black and Ayden J. Eichelser. Two sisters, Kelly Shaw Noble and husband Mark of Lake Suzy, FL, and Susan Shaw Boyd and husband Peter of Pittsfield, as well as her father, Raymond H. Shaw of Hinsdale. Lisa also leaves many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother Nancy L. Shaw and sister Kristin Shaw.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held, Friday, December 30, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, celebrated by Rev. Steven Montesanti, Pastor. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be held, Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 4 to 7 p.m. at DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.
