Obituary for Leo Davis
Leo Robert Davis, 76 of Pittsfield, passed away March 11, 2021 at his home. Born in Pittsfield on December 21, 1944, he was the son of the late Edward and Mary Thorton Davis.
A 1964 graduate of Pittsfield High School, he married the former Linda Carmel on August 15, 1980. She predeceased him on March 13, 2019.
Mr. Davis was a United States Army Veteran, having served during the Vietnam war.
He was employed as a carpenter and mill worker, having worked for Crane and Company for 22 years and then as a carpenter for 30 years.
In his younger years he enjoyed target shooting and hunting. He collected various music records and loved music, especially Elvis. Leo had a great sense of humor.
He is survived by his daughters, Melissa A. Garcia and husband Joe of Pittsfield, and Debra L. Malossini and husband Dustin of Arizona; his grandsons, Dylan Malossini of Arizona and Logan Malossini of Arizona. His siblings, Nancy Arms of Pittsfield, Richard Davis of Bradenton, FL, Jimmy Davis of Pittsfield, Kathy Davis of Windsor, William Davis of Pittsfield and Robert Davis of Pittsfield. Leo was predeceased by his brothers, Edward and John Davis. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
