Obituary for Laura Shin
Laura Shin born August 27th, 1992 in Omaha Nebraska passed away on March 9th, 2016. She was a student at MCPHS, and was set to graduate in May 2016 as a Doctor of Pharmacy.
In addition to her studies Laura enjoyed playing tennis, running, ice skating, traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
She is pre-deceased by her paternal grandparents Sam Yong and Jung Soon Shin of Nebraska and her maternal grandmother Moonsoon Oh of South Korea. Besides her parents Yong and Jung Ja Shin of Pittsfield, MA she leaves her sister and brother-in-law Diana and Andrew Walak of Peru, MA. She also leaves her aunt and uncle Seung Duk and Do hee Oh of Connecticut, and her cousin Yae-Jin Oh of New York, and her longtime boyfriend Danny Yoo of NY. As well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Nebraska, South Korea, and Paraguay.
FUNERAL NOTICE - A private service was held at Dery Funeral Home on Sunday March 13th. Burial took place at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the first Korean Presbyterian Church located at 300 Chapel Road # A, Manchester, CT 06042 in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St. Pittsfield, Ma.
