Obituary for Kurt Moreau

KURT ALAN MOREAU, 51, of 60 Lenox Avenue, Pittsfield, died Thursday, April 24, at his home.
Born in Springfield, November 30, 1956, a son of Roland O. and Patricia Wesolowski Moreau, he was educated in Springfield schools and was a 1974
graduate of Classical High School in Springfield.
He served as an Airman First Class with the United States Air Force from
March 1977 to August 1979.
Mr. Moreau was employed as a truck driver for Girardi Distributors where
he had worked nine years until October 2007.
He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and a member to area motorcycle clubs including the Greylock Riders Club. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed Greenwood Hills Campground in Hope Valley, Rhode Island with his companion Janet Allen. He also loved body surfing at Misquamacut Beach, Rhode Island and bird hunting.
Besides his parents of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Mr. Moreau leaves a brother, Gary Moreau of Ludlow, Massachusetts, and his companion of ten years, Janet Allen of Pittsfield.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours for KURT ALAN MOREU, who died Thursday, April 24, will be held Monday, May 5, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
