Obituary for Kevin A. Gardner

Kevin Allen Gardner, Sr., 50, of 96 Brayton Hill Terrace, North Adams, died
Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.
Born in Pittsfield on March 25, 1962, a son of William and Bertha Bateman
Gardner, he was educated in Pittsfield schools.
He had served with the United States Army Reserve.
Mr. Gardner was a stock keeper at Cascade School Supply at North Adams
for fifteen years.
He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.
Mr. Gardner leaves his longtime companion, Eunice Benoit, of North Adams.
He is also survived by five sons, Collin Gardner and Zachary Gardner both of
Pittsfield, and Isiah Gardner, Keandre Gardner, and Kevin Gardner, Jr., all of North
Adams; seven daughters, Shamia Berkeley of Pittsfield, and Tahira Gardner, Alana
Gardner, Kianna Gardner, Makira Gardner, Alexia Gardner, and Teanah Gardner, all of
North Adams; four brothers, Brian Gardner of North Adams, David Frye of Pittsfield,
Steven Frye of Colorado, and Richard Frye of Pittsfield; five sisters, Nancy Gardner,
Deborah Gardner, Sheila Frye, and Sharon Watford all of Pittsfield, and Linda Benner of Colorado.
He was pre-deceased by two sisters, Judy Gardner and Emily Logan, and a
brother, Michael Frye.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Kevin Allen Gardner, Sr., will be held Wednesday, December 19, at 11:00 a.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Gardner may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pitts-
field.
