Obituary for Keith Caesar

Keith Mark Caesar, loving family man, welder, sculptor and woodworker passed on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. Born in Pittsfield, MA to John Munroe Caesar and Elizabeth Emily (Morehead) Caesar. Keith was educated in Pittsfield Public Schools prior to marrying the love of his life, Claire (Adams) Caesar. He built a career as a welder/fabricator before retiring from Advanced Machine and Tool, Inc. in 2018.

In addition to his loving wife of 39 years, Keith leaves behind three daughters; Jacqueline C. Adams, Logan R. Adams, and Ashley M. (Caesar) Cuyler (Lavon Cuyler); sisters, Valerie L. Sistrunk and Lynn M. Alvarez (Rigoberto Alvarez); brothers, Lloyd D. Caesar and Theodore A. Caesar; seven grandchildren, Ma’Leek L. Adams-Powell, Mykhenzy C. Cuyler-Caesar, Meyah J. Powell, Myles A. Cuyler, Maxton L. Powell, Langston M. Cuyler, Kayden J. Malone, and many nieces and nephews. Keith was predeceased by his sister Deborah A. (Caesar) Branch and brother John K. Caesar as well as grandson, Marquise Powell and nephews Lawrence A. McCray Jr. and Thelonious A. Sistrunk. Keith will be remembered as an inquisitive man who valued his family, art, education and living life on your own terms. If you knew Keith, you loved him or he drove you nuts, or both.

Calling hours will be held at Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St. Pittsfield, MA on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 4-6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate all donations be made to the Boys & Girls Club of the Berkshires Higher Learning Program in memory of Keith M. Caesar.
