Obituary for Kathleen Ellen Demary

Kathleen Ellen Demary, 84, of Pittsfield died at her home on Sunday November 15, 2015. Born in Pittsfield, November 5, 1931 the daughter of the late Eugene P. and Mary (Lenihan) O'Brien, she was educated in local schools and was a graduate of St. Joseph High School.
Kathleen worked in the Cafeteria for the Pittsfield Public Schools for many years; she spent most of her career at the former North Junior High or Reid Middle School. Kathleen enjoyed reading spending time with her grandchildren and making people laugh with her wonderful sense of humor.
Kathleen was a communicant of St. Charles Church.
Kathleen is survived by her two daughters; Ellen M. Baran and her husband Robert of Pittsfield, Susan L. Demary-Kellar and her husband Peter of Pittsfield, her son; Edward J. Demary and his wife Lisa of Pittsfield, her grandchildren; Kristin Baran, Nicole Seyerlien, Tiffany Bassi, Amanda Baran, Derek Demary, Nicola McMan, Daniel Demary, Erin Latimer, Katielynn Hoffman, Elissa Demary, Cashea Demary and 18 great-grandchildren.
Kathleen was predeceased by her husband Edward J. Demary Sr., her daughter; Regina K. Demary Latimer and her grandson Eric Latimer.

Funeral Notice:
A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Kathleen Ellen Demary, who died on Sunday November 15th, will be held Friday November 20th at 10 a.m. at St. Charles Church, celebrated by the Rev. Peter Gregory, Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Kathleen's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield.
