Obituary for Katherine M. Dubree

Katherine Mary Munn Dubree, 77, of 6079 East Camino Manzano, Anaheim, California and formerly of Eleanor Road, Pittsfield, Ma. died Thursday October 9, 2014 in Santa Ana, California. Born on April 17, 1937 in Pittsfield a daughter of the late Frank and Katherine Ferry Munn. She attended schools in Pittsfield and was a 1955 graduate of Pittsfield High School. At one time she had been employed by the General Electric Company; she also had been head payroll clerk at Anthony Pools in Montebello, California for 20 years. She was a 40 year member of the Sweet Adeline's and had been a president of the local chapter. She was a communicant of St. Mark's Church and a communicant of San Antonio Church and Saint Maria Goretti Church in California. She enjoyed reading, singing and spending time with her family and friends. She was a gate attendant at Tanglewood for over ten years and a docent at Norman Rockwell for over 15 years.
She was the wife of Donald R. Dubree whom she married at the former Saint Teresa's Church on May 5, 1961; he died February 13, 2004.
She is survived by three daughters, Carol L. Dubree of Lake Elsinore, CA. Mary K. Weise of Corona, CA. and Deborah A. Johnson and her husband Stanley of Anaheim, CA. with whom she resided. A Brother, William Munn and his wife Peggy of Pittsfield, Ma.
Six grandchildren, Jessica Weise, Brandon and Cameron Freese, Brad Glade, Koral Johnson and Jordan Glade. She was predeceased by a brother, Frank Munn and by a sister, Marjorie Schaper.

FUNERAKL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held Saturday October 18, 2014 at 8:15 a.m. from the DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, Ma. followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. at Saint Mark's Church. Entombment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Mausoleum at Saint Joseph's Cemetery in Pittsfield. Calling hours at Dery Funeral Home will be Friday Oct. 17th, from 4 to 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials in her memory may be made to Saint Mark's Church Food Pantry in care of the funeral home.
