Obituary for Katherine Elizabeth Bouchard

Katherine Elizabeth Bouchard, 92, formerly of Capitol Square Apartments,
North Street, Pittsfield, died Friday, September 28, 2012, at Sweet Brook of Williamstown.
Born in Pittsfield on May 9, 1920, a daughter of Richard and Marjorie Sigsworth Doyle, she attended Pittsfield schools.
Mrs. Bouchard was a homemaker.
A devout Catholic, Mrs. Bouchard had been a communicant of the former Notre Dame Church and then of St. Joseph Church.
Her children and her grandchildren were her life. She also enjoyed playing bingo and cards.
Her husband, Eugene F. Bouchard, whom she married June 20, 1940, in Notre Dame Church, died May 11, 1990.
She is survived by a son, Lionel Bouchard and his wife, Lena, of New Ashford; a daughter, K. Jean Hakes, of Lanesborough; three brothers, Richard Doyle of Connecticut, John Doyle and his wife, Helen, of Cheshire, and David Doyle and his wife, Elaine, of Pittsfield; a sister, Ruth Jones and her husband, Bill, of Pittsfield; five grandchildren, Lee Bouchard and his wife, Denise, Todd Bouchard and his wife, Wendy, Fallon Bouchard, Stephanie Myers and her husband, Neil, and Elizabeth Ward and her husband, Paul; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bouchard was pre-deceased by two brothers, Larry Doyle and James Doyle,
and four sisters, Margaret Doyle, Gertrude Brister, Mary Major, and Rita Squires.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Katherine Elizabeth Bouchard will be held Tuesday, October
9, at 8:15 a.m., from DERY FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Church celebrated by Rev. Msgr. Michael A. Shershanovich, Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Bouchard may be made to HospiceCare in The Berkshires in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
