Obituary for Karen Ann Kittler (Culverwell)
Karen Ann (Culverwell) Kittler, 74, of Washington, MA, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on September 16, 2023. Karen was born in Pittsfield, MA on August 21, 1949, to Raymond Culverwell and Teresa Godfrey Culverwell. She graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1967.
Karen was loved and will be missed by her husband of 42 years, Alan Kittler, and her children, Diana Cirillo-Fuss, her wife Stephanie, Christopher Cirillo and his wife Susan, and Alina Kittler. In addition to her parents Raymond and Teresa, she is predeceased by her sister Donna L Monterosso.
Karen loved to garden. For 15 years she was the owner and operator of Country Dream Farm. Karen sold her fresh vegetables and flowers at the North Adams and Adams Farmers Market, plus exhibited at various local agriculture fairs. Spending time with her family was Karen’s greatest joy. She loved walking on sandy shores, trout fishing with Alan, playing miniature golf and family vacations.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires.
