Obituary for June M. DiPalazzo

June M. DiPalazzo, 80, of 80 Edward Ave., Pittsfield, died peacefully at Kimball Farms Nursing Care Center on Tuesday January 31, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Pittsfield on June 3, 1936, the daughter of the late Jean D. and Jeanne I. Miclette Arseneau. She was educated in Pittsfield schools and was a 1954 graduate of St. Joseph's High School.
June was passionate about taking care of her home and her family. After her husband Robert's sudden passing in 1984, she went to work in the housekeeping department at Berkshire Medical Center. She was employed there for more than twelve years.
June enjoyed arts and crafts, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and completing word search puzzles. June was a woman of strong faith and she was a communicant of the former All Souls Church and current communicant of Sacred Heart Church.
June is survived by her daughter; Marie C. DiPalazzo and partner Arthur Winters of Pittsifeld, a son; Mark R. DiPalazzo and his wife Michelle of Pittsfield, two grandchildren; Breanna Santiago and Kendall Menatti of Pittsfield and five great-grandchildren; Hailey Santiago, Natasha Ramos, Sophia Ramos, Briella Menatti-Harrison and Alayah Menatti-Harrison, a sister; Elaine Folan of Lakeland, FL a beloved niece; Marlene Cheverlot of Springfield, MA and many loved nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband; Robert A. DiPalazzo, three brothers; Robert Arseneau, Marcel Arseneau and Maurice Arseneau and four sisters; Cecile Lacalaide, Irene Geerholt, Madeleine Monterosso, Marguerita Fresia.

Funeral Notice - Funeral services for June M. DiPalazzo of Pittsfield who passed away on January 31, 2017 will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 8:15 a.m. from DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 BRADFORD ST., PITTSFIELD, MA with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held TODAY, FRIDAY FEBRUARY 3, 2017 from 4 to 7p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in June's memory can be made to the American Heart Association or HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.
