Obituary for Judith Sims
Judith Sims, 64, of Pittsfield, passed away October 18, 2022 at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Savannah, Georgia on December 24, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Elise Moody Wilson.
Judith was married to David Sims who predeceased her.
Primarily a homemaker and stay at home mom, at one time she was an assembler at Shaeffer-Eaton.
She enjoyed doing crafts, knitting, crocheting, and painting.
Mrs. Sims is survived by her children, Larence Bolling and Tyrese Richardson of Pittsfield and Justina Walker and husband Jason Walker, Sr., of Ashburnham, MA. Her grandchildren, Janee Walker, Aliyah Bolling, Kimesha Bolling, Jason Walker, Jr., Kyree Berkely, and Jayla Idaha. Her siblings, Richard Anderson of Pittsfield, Kathleen Harris and husband Fred of Detroit, MI, Cheryl Moody of San Francisco, CA, Janice Levine-Weaver and husband Charles of Savannah, GA, and Rita Reeves-Wilson of Savannah, GA. She also leaves her sister in-law Sheila Wilson, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her brothers, James Dillon, Jr. and Lorenzo Wilson, Jr., and her grandson, Larence Bolling, Jr.
Per her wishes there will be no services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield.
